The Peer Training Institute / Amida Care Community Outreach and Navigation Training is an intensive six-week employment readiness training program that includes core and specialized courses for NYS Peer Certification. Graduates achieve knowledge and skills to deliver community outreach, health coaching, linkage to care, motivational interviewing, service navigation, and other activities that support improved health and retention in care. The training also helps prepare participants to succeed future employment.
